Does anyone know what a good trade in price would be for a slightly used (300 rounds) well taken care of xd40 Service?

I have a few ideas, though I'm wondering what everyone else thinks.

i would think you would get more out of it my selling in on here, not sure though i have just heard gun shops wont give s%&$ for it

$425 face to face

$400 + shipping

$275 trade in

I got $280 when I traded my XD-40 service. I also had 4 mags, 2 high caps. I didn't want to bother with trying to sell it myself. I've decided that I won't trade anything again. I'll just save a little longer.

I'm not inclined to sell an xd .40 for that low as a trade in, that is why I'm keeping the 9mm and shooting for a real 1911 for the XD service(if my Dad would allow it).

$400 is what XD40s sold for new, by Quantico Arms, 2 years ago.

Around TX, you can find them NIB for $425-$450, seen a few as high as $490. So, maybe $400 or bottom-line around $375, plus shipping of course. Toss in a few extras to sweeten the deal or raise the price. Exspecially if they are XD specific, like mid-line holsters or mags. Matter of fact, just bought one from here @$450 plus shipping with 3 extra holsters and mag, what did it was the Dawson sights, though.
Now if I can just find a sweet deal on a SC, I'll be happy.. for a while anyway.

I can go buy a new XD for 429.99 down at Sportsmans warehouse, I would expect to pay about 350 for anyones used XD considering it was semi-taken care of. XD's are pretty sturdy, not much someone could do in a matter of 4 or 5 years that is some sort of major problem!
