OD Green?
I am looking to purchase a XD9SC but the best price I can find is one a OD Green. I'd never really thought much about it and had always looked at the black, or the sweet bitone. So are there any advantages or disadvantages to the OD? I do think it MIGHT be a slightly better contrast for CC against clothing, as I rarely wear black.
But then I think...do I want a green gun?

I was looking for an XD Service -357 sig in OD Green but can't find one. I had to buy the 357 in Black this morning. I am sending out the metal parts to be refinished in Coyote Brown instead.

Personally I don't like the OD frame, I think an OD slide looks much better.

Shoot, fool! OD is for teh Operatorz! It's not just tactical, its not blackticle, it's olive dracticle. For when you're in the jungle, see. The urban jungle.
:P Why green? Cause some folks like green. Like me. I've got several guns wearing green, and intend to dress more in it. Just a preference thing.

It's not easy being green.
But I think they're kinda cool actually. |

My next gun will be green and the slide will be orange.

I've got a 5in tactical in O/D & Black..... I second guessed at the last minute.... then swiftly switched back to O/D.
If anything I may duracoat the slide O/D to match! |
