Fusion Finish
Is it just me or is the Fusion finish overrated.

It's probably just you. I've yet to see one in person. XDTalk only makes up a very small percentage of XD owners. It's not like you see one everyday.
I know Kimber has a similiar finish on their Eclipse models as well as Springfield on their Black Stainless model. I like it. Not overrated.

By the way, "Fusion" is the product of Canyon-Creek..

Oh, and LINCHPIN's home made finish that looks the same.

Nothing againist CC but everybody raves about the finish.
I have seen it in person and it just doesn't look all that great to me.

I did one that looks like it. I had bare for awhile now. I'm not sure If did mine before Rich. No disrespect to Rich. My XD TAC5 is bare metal on the sides. So far it has never had a spec of rust. I like the way it looks.

I own a Kimber Eclipse Pro Target II - so I like that finish. When I saw that Canyon Creek offers a similar style finish, I got all warm and fuzzy inside.

I've yet to go to a match with my Tactical in Fusion where someone hasn't said to me "Damn thats a nice looking gun!" Fusion rocks.
