anybody else get the XD-45GAP just before ACP came out?
New to the HS2000/XD Talk.
Really like my XD-45GAP Tactical BiTone alot. Getting factory ammo in anything but 185 gr is a problem. OK so it made me a hand-loader now.

Gotta admit that I'd rather have the ACP now - but only comes in 4" - no tacital 5" yet? Whats up with that?

Anyway, I am shopping for a carry gun now - probably going to be a XD-40 SC, black. But saw a picture of the Fusion finish - WOW! Nice, but does it last? Also considering the Kahr K40 Elite, kind of pricey, but very elegant.

Welcome to the HS/XD mad house. The ACP Tactical is out. Several members have them. Looks like you have the XD bug. They do multiply!

I went in and ordered a XD 45ACP 4" Service and when I went to pick it up, this last Monday, it was a 5" Tactical. Yes, the 5" Tactical are out there.

I just got my 4" XD45 today.

If you reload, I would not regret your purchase. Besides some minor ballistic differences, the only real problem is the lack of available ammo.

I got my tactical. I called every gun store in Phoenix, and one (Xcalibur Guns) had gotten in one the day before. I got lucky.
