cavity behind magazine well?
The cavity is shaped like a smile, following the contour of backstrap of the grip and flat at the frame of the mag well. There is a little square post, with an even smaller square protrusion in the inside curve of the smile, and on the square side there is a semi-circular indentation. Under a loupe it appears to be molded, not a ding or a flaw. Is there supposed to be an insert covering this area that maybe fell out whilst I was wringing the weapon out with 200 rnds of FMJ? If so, has there been other posts about this? What was the resolution? I do not remember seeing this until today when I was practicing draws with the Fobus paddle, which could not have caused any damage.

So... she's right. Let us just keep this to ourselves. Thanks for the quick response.

The area is referred to as an option included by the manufacturer, but only on models labed SE-Arch - This option is included so that you can roll up a $20 for when you run out of ammo at the range.
