Possible to start a tacked thread with photos of XDs - XDTalk Forums - Your HS2000/SA-XD Information Source!

Would it be possible to start a tacked thread containing pics of people's XDs (and I suppose other firearms as well)? It might alleviate all of the searching around for photos and give people ideas for refinish colors, modifications, and generally reduce some of the clutter.

What do you think?

Since this is HS2000 & SA-XD talk I would suggest one thread strickly for HS and XD and then if so desire a seperate thread in the appropriate sub section for all others.

Good idea. . . how about a tacked thread for just pictures of peoples XDs. If you want to get artistic you may have other items/guns in the pic, but the pic should contain an XD.

That would be great idea. I've had alot of trouble searching for pictures myself. Sometimes the links to the pictures are lost for some reason, so more space on the server or something to keep the pictures up and running.

I think it's a great idea!!!

Unless if someone beats me to it (post a url-if you do) I'll take some kind of artsy photo of my XD and AR15 (when I get home) and start the thread. Oops, can somebody run this by ED, Old Skool, and some of the other mods.

No sense starting this thread if it won't get tacked.

I think it would be a good idea too. One suggestion I have is that the thread be pictures only. No posts unless a picture is included.....you know to keep the thread from going off topic.

Like someone posting a pic of an xd hard chromed, followed by 10 posts on questions about the hard chrome and opinions on the hard chrome.

^ I was thinking the same thing. You should be able to give a short description of what's in the picture and any further questions should be settled by PM.
