xd40 or 9mm tactical bi-tone?
I have been watching around for a while now and can't seem to find one. Is springfield not making vary many? I'm just amazed that I haven't found one anywhere. Probably going to have to order it. If anyone knows were one is at new or gently used let me know. Thanks Andy

I had to find mine at the local gunshow. It's still hard to find at local gun stores. Only a couple stores had them and that was after I bought my Bi-tone.

i had issues finding a 9mm subcompact in bitone. ended up ordering it. came in 8 days later, at Scheel's even. Not too bad.
I know James at Ordnance outsellers can get them in. the 9mm bitone SC was $490 through him. |

I talked today to the local mega gun store in my area about finding a bi-tone xd tac. The guy was kind of crapy. He told me that I would have to order the gun and if his distributor didn't have one I would have to wait to get on from croatia. I just didn't like the way he was talking to me about it. Made fill stupied. Grant it I am not an expert butI'm not stupied. There is a local gun show this weekend so I may look there. Andy

I like it when the guys at the gun shop talk strait facts, then break it down with no self biased bs. Springfield should list all of their distributors.

but then I had to ship my sig pro 2009 slide to sig arms, leaving me with a Mosquito for HD use...so when the XD came in I ended up just walking out the door with it. Hindsight being 20/20, and forgetting about sales tax...wish I'd ordered from James. If my wife likes my XD, she's getting a black one, and I'll get it thru james at OO for sure then. |

I just got a price from the local gun range for $550 for the tactical bi-tone in either 9mm or 40sw. I didn't think that was a bad price. Plus you get two free range visits. What do you guys think? Andy
