Is it just me, or are the .40SC's seeming to be tough to find? Around here everyone seems to be out of stock. I noticed the same on the websites that showed stock levels, and they seem to be OOS mostly also. Is there too much demand for SA to keep up with?

I'm on a waiting list right now, but I'm not sure how long it will be

I have found 1 9mm, but I prefer to stick with .40.

Buddy of mine is in the same boat. He just picked up an xd45 and doesn't like to carry it. So he's looking for an xdsc 40. He's been looking for a couple weeks and can't find one anywhere out here. He's on a couple waiting lists as well.

Around here they are plentiful always a couple in stock with both stainless and the black brunial or whatever finish.

I just walked into my local gunstore, and the evil owner was rude enough to have them on sale. And so I ended up with another gun I didn't really need. I wish I had bought the 9 so it wouldn't be so expensive to shoot. Same dealer has one on GunsAmerica (GA# 976686824).

EFK Firedragon conversion barrels can make shooting eventually cheaper. My cuz ordered his sub .40 used for $320(that's a steal), now he's just waiting for his background check to clear along with the 3 day wait period. Says he doesn't regret wanting and purchasing the .40 XDSC.

I looked all over the rochester Ny shops for one. Same story all over... None in stock and the distributers are out of them. Backorder might be 6 weeks plus. Moved on to utica, NY with the same results. Luckily the last place I went into had of all things a used one that looks like it's only had about a box of rounds through it. I picked it up. $359. Can't beat that.

Not a bad deal, I found my XD 9mm online through thehighpoint.coms forums and had it shipped to my ffl, was worth the wait for my baby.

Up here in michigan its the absolute opposite all you can find half the time is 40 a very little 9's. but if you at a show you will see the one nd only 9 there sold in the first couple hours.

Too bad they don't make a barrel for a subcompact.
