Curious, are there any Michigan shooters here on XD talk? Supposedly Spectacle Lake Outdoor (buddy of mine lives 2 miles South of it somewhere in Ecksford and says club has great ranges that don't cut you short on time(some ranges feel like they flip you upside down for your cash and cut your time in half!), and have great staff. Does anyone have personal experiences from this range? If so please do tell ^.^

albion is a decent drive for me coming from the Grand Rapids area. I perfer the Caledonia Sportsman's Club (for pistol/rifle/trap/skeet/sporting clays) to the sourth of me or Silver Bullet Firearms (pistol/shotgun w/slugs) right in town.

Caledonia Sportsman's Club is a great place to shoot, nice to get out doors and enjoy the good weather (the four days a year it is actually nice outside in michigan). The people there are good, but sometimes give me strange looks when i show up to shoot trap with this guy:

I also gotta admit, Silver Bullet is one of the nicer in-door ranges i've ever been to. The staff is pretty nice and don't make you feel stupid if you ask a question

I'm from MI, but I've never been to spectacle lake. I'm about 20 minutes west of Detroit. That would be a little drive for me.

another michigander here... i live out in bath and go to MSU. not really sure where albion IS from here. i just joined the looking glass sportsman club in laingsburg, mi. haven't made it out there much with the weather but seems nice. 25,50,75,100,200 rifle/pistol ranges. they had a newly built covered pistol range but the roof collapsed recently. also a bunch of archery and trap stuff. i've never do that but look forward to getting into it. for those w/ hunting dogs, they do a lot of hunts and shows, too.

i shoot at total firearms in mason from time to time but it's a hike. nice indoor range, though.

I shot there a couple months back My MOM and I had the range to ourselves around 11:00 during the day.
