Contemplating Selling the Glock 22 for XD9

I've got the XD 45 and love it. I have a 2nd generation Glock 22 and thinking about selling it and using the funds to buy an XD 9 Service. I don't ever shoot the G22 after getting the XD 45 and having the 9 millie would give me something that's cheaper to shoot and give me wife something to shoot. Am I nuts? Thoughts?

XD-9

Do it! Unless you reload with jacketed or Plated bullets for the Glock 22 , Wally World is the cheapest. If you go 9MM the WWB is about $11.00 @ 100. I have had my XD-9 for over a year and it is the Energizer Bunny. NO malfunctions. This is a smart trade.

If you have had 0 problems with your 2nd generation glock 22 I say keep it, and save the funds for another XD. Not very logical but I'm not a fan of giving up or selling stuff in my gun cabinet especially when I know the pistols have a %99.99999 chance to fire flawlessly.

Hmmmm. Decisions. Decisions. The easy part is I have a good friend who wants the Glock and will give me a good dollar for it. He made a good point; "The XD9 would be a good choice as it's comparable to feel of my carry pistol (XD45). I'm a bit concerned about the non-melonite, or tennifer slide of the XD9. The I've had the Glock since 1994 new and it still looks mint.

Anyone know what would be a good price for a new XD9?

$400.00
Including 3 15 round magazines ^.^

There are reasons why your good friend will pay a good dollar for your glock 22. I would keep it.

Maybe I can sell my Ruger GP-100 or S&W 4046 before the Glock.
