Cross-breed holsters... anyone tried these?
I've been looking for a holster for concealed carry. I stumbled on this page and wondered if anyone here has tried one of these?
http://www.crossbreedholsters.com/index.html $40 for a hand-made holster seemed more than reasonably priced. Are they any good? Thanks -Ryan |

Just a few people have tried them
http://www.hs2000talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=27461 They get very favorable marks from most everyone. You can see my brief review w/pic on page 7 of the above thread. LDC

LDC, you beat me, I was going to show him that link also.
I purchased one after reading that thread. I have had mine for about 3 weeks and I like it. I will admit it's a bit more time consuming in putting on compared to a simple clip on. Those, you just stick in your waistband with the clip hooked over your belt. With the crossbreed, you have to make sure the clips are between the belt and pants, with the clip over the belt at the bottom. Not that it takes that much time, but it is a little akward (for me) to put the rear clip right as I wear it at 9:00 (lefty). I imagine most, if not all tuckables that have those kind of clips are like that, no matter what brand. I have the ultra tuck adjustable with "J" and "C" clips. I like it. Mark, the owner is very easy to talk to and is willing to do whatever is necessary to make you happy. |
