Not bad. Would most likely stop a BG. Try to shoot as much as possible. There's no question that the more you shoot, the tighter your groups will get. That's what happened for me. (and is still happening at 500 + rounds)

akoba...
don't beat yourself up...that's not 1/2 bad shooting!! you are probably anticipating recoil, which is causing you to grip too tightly, and also to flinch when you pull the trigger. unload, put ammo in a separate room, and do lots of dry firing. work on getting a surprise break on the trigger. ease up on your grip a bit. then just do the same exact thing at the range... -JJ |

it has been said, good job but keep working at it.
At 15 yards you should be able to keep all the shots in about a 4 inch circle then you move back or speed up....

thank for all the encouragement guys. I just can believe to my self. It really sucks cause my last requal (oct 2009) is almost the same with this one and i almost fail. Unlike my requal about 6 months ago i made it in one close groups.
I think the reason is my gripping. Im trying to change my grip in a safer place beside that recoil counter act. Anyway thanks again guys for the tips and technique . I will keep on practicing again before i go to the range. |

It might be the grip, but from personal experience, it's more likely to be the trigger finger. For what ever reason, the XD line seems to be less forgiving of poor trigger control. It looks like you are simply moving the trigger finger at the base vs at the 2nd joint, causing the gun to point off to the left a tad.
