What's the best way to clean your bore snakes and bore mops?

I'm honestly not sure what is the best way to clean the bore of your weapon, but I'm sure this kit at http://www.eguns.com/Miscellaneous/G...ing_stuff.html will be very useful, I might eventually purchase one myself seeing how it has tools to clean a variety of weapons including shotguns and rifles. Eguns seems to have a contact # so they can provide you with more information over the phone about their products and what to do / how to apply them I'm guessing.

I've got the cleanng kits and equipment but after I clean my guns, my bore snakes and bore mops are pretty filthy. I just need to clean them.

I haven't figured a way to clean 'em yet. The best i've done is dip 'em in Hoppes, squeeze them out and let 'em sit. The mop looks like a wet dead mouse though.

Per the bore snake packaqe (if memory serves), dish detergent in warm water, then air dry. At least, that's how I clean mine.

The directions for the bore snake say to either hand wash with detergent, or you can put it in the machine in a laundry bad.. i'm thinking one of those lingerie wash bags would be the right size.

I soak mine in hot water with dish soap. After 10 minutes, I wring out, rinse, and leave outside to dry.
