New Here
I just bought a XD9 Service today.
I've been lurking here for about a month and decided to join. There is tons of great info here and hopefully I can help contribute in the future. I've have a Beretta 92F Compact that has been my everyday concealed carry gun for the last 17 years. The XD9 is going to be my new everyday carry gun. Like a lot of others I compared the XD to the Glock. I went to a range and rented a XD and Glock 19 and shot them both to compare to each other and my Beretta. The XD just fit me better then the Glock. It is more comfortable in my hands and the trigger felt closer to my Beretta in SA then the Glock. I'll take the XD to the range later this week and start getting some rounds through it. I'm waiting for the holsters and TFOs I ordered to show up. Here is a pic of my new XD9 and some of my favorite knives.

Welcome to the forum and nice pic.
I like the Damascus blade (ignoring the semantics of "demascus" steel) too, pretty stuff! The feel in the hand is a common comment. I am not sure if I can quantify it other than damn they feel good! |
