Duracoating questions

after searching the forums, the same name comes up
james

So, I'm assuming he would be the man for the job. I want to get my xd-9 sc coated.

So, by a show of hands, who has had their's done, and by who? and would you recommend them.

I also want all the parts coated too.

Go with james or not?

My vote. Go with James. I have four
that he has done. Hang loose for a few
weeks however. James is at the Shot
Show plus he is opening a new store front
in Georgia. Check his site in my sig.

Had mine done last month by James, top notch. I think he only does slides at present though he did do a full set of controls for someone once.

Why not just buy the kit and do it yourself?

theres something to be about experience.
I'd prefer someone that knows what they are doing
as opposed to me trying it out for the first time on my own.

and 45 bucks is a small price to pay for piece of mind

It is a pretty easy system and there is no baking required. If you have both arms and hands you should be just fine.

It does state that the process is easy, however, with the price of the duracoat + the finishing kit...the cost is around $45 bucks anyways! I would rather not attempt doing something that I may regret.
By the way is duracoating the controls included in the cost?

I think the controls are an additional $11.
