lack of options for xd9 sc. any hope in the near future?

ive been to many sites that offer alot of products for xd 9 service and tacticle. but nithing for sub-compact xd9 od xd40 SC. I called lasermax and they are working on the laser for it, but dont yet know of a release date. I think they are lazy

does anyone know of any more mods that are going to become available in the near future? Or an i going to be looking for yet another XD to modify?

What mods are you looking for? Outside of a conversion barrel and guide rod, you should be able to do just about anything to the XDSC.

I speculate that Lasermax may never actually release a unit for the SC. They all but promised me that it would be out in May of 2005, then July, Then August, Then November, then they finally said they had no idea and told me that the XD SC's were not reliable. I think they have thier head up thier butt on this one.

I have an XD SC-9 with a CC custom finish, CC trigger job, Pachmayer rubber grips, Pearce extender, Meprolight night sights so there are definitely things you can do to these pistols....what do you want to do that you can't besides the Lasermax?

honestly... i dont know yet.

I just see more options for the service and tacticle model.

i am still soaking up some great knowledge of these guns and shot my mouth off before i saw the other options available.

anything to anyones knowledge on guide rod or spring options?

I will be picking up the Pachmayr Slip-On Grips and the TRUGLO Tritium/Fiber Sights.

Im sure in the future a trigger job will be in order, but gonna wait on that.

Maybe they mean what I suspect, dimensionally the SC is hard to get a single spring to work. There is very little lip to support a washer or bushing and then you have even less room for a spring that is going to do the job. Trying to make it work with a single spring and guide rod made it unreliable, which is why I do not foresee any DGR for the sub. Of course I put a positive spin on their actions only because it matches my suspicions about what it would take.
