My XD's, roommate's Glock

Here are some pics of my 2 XD40's, and my Roommate's new Glock 22. I also have some videos of the trigger pulls and resets for all 3 guns. One of my XD's has a CC trigger job, the other is stock, the Glock is box stock.

Will post video's soon.

not sure, I traded R/T Performance my 1911 for that gun. The TFO's were already installed. You can PM him and prob. get the answer. My guess would be ajames51 though cause that slide has been duracoated.

why does the glock frame look like carbon fiber?

seems the glock has an inferiority complex posing next to the XDs

I'm going to venture to guess that the glock frame looks like that due to most of the flash being focused on that, and sometimes camera lens can have weird visual effects when the image sensoring chip aligns itself against odd angled lines, etc..

It's good you have two XDs so one will always be working when your roommate wants to go shooting .

I got to watch it because the other day I was cutting firewood with a buddy and I was ragging on his Poulan saw. After three loads of firewood, my 046 Stihl clutch locked up. Granted, the Stihl is about eight years old and cut LOTS of wood. And I was cutting all the big stuff that day. But still, figures since I was teasing him about his little baby saw.

The glock looks that way because it is a "special edition" of some sort. Basically Glock sent a bunch of OD green G22's to dynamic finishes to have the carbon fiber look applied to the frame. It is called water transfer printing.

My bad, good to know. But it is going to be hard chromed, the armory coat seems to suck, shows wear pretty bad. Gives it charecter though.
