Can someone break down the different sights available on a SA XD 40?

Springfield's Custom Shop can put adjustable, fiber optic, tritium, pretty much anything you want, but I can't afford stuff like that. I work for the public.

Tons of after markets to personally I like the tru-glow tfo's click the pistol-gear and or hs2000 link in my sig.

This is all great information.
However... I don't know very much about sights so I was really looking for what the sights look like, what the differences/benefits are, etc. Can anyone help?
