SC XD mags

Just added an XD 40 SC to my XD40 V-10. I can only get 8 rounds into the 9 round mags. Is this common? Are they defective? Can I do anything to get to a 9 round capacity? Will they get better with time?

Thanks ahead of time.

I had some problem w/ my 12 rd mags. You can get it in, it's hard at first. Once you get it in, leave it that way. In a week or so will be fine.

Just leave them loaded up for a while. They loosen up pretty quick. I had the same problem when I first got mine.

I had the same problem, it's just the new mag. I actually forced it in at teh expense of my thumb, i tried putting one short in then waiting a day or two and reloading, it usually works, teh spring just needs to be worked in.

Quit being such a sissy and don't be afriad to hurt your purty little digits.
Seriously....I had the same problem when mine were new. Use them a few times and leave them loaded up for a while!

Take care.
