Locking block troubles
I hear alot of trouble with the locking blocks on the xds. Are they that bad or just a few escaped the factory. Im looking about possibly getting the xdsc in 9mm. How can you tell if it has an upgraded one. I hear about holes in them to relive stress or something. Just gettin more info on this gun as my choices are narrowed down to this and the new skyy cpx-1 for the size and cost. thanks for time Sixgun

I have a newer XD-9 but the locking block is not relieved. I have 3000 rounds through it with at least 100 of them being +P ammo. I did a visual check tonight and don't see anything.. It's a-okay.

If I remember correctly, the SC's have different blocks than the 4" and 5" models and don't have a problem
