Anybody (Ciener, or whoever) planning on making a .22lr conversion for our XDs?

Nay.

Matter of fact, I was thinking about this very subject the other day, and as if it was unlikely enough, it's now even more unlikely that there'll ever be a .22lr conversion because of the new 45ACP XD -- the slides wont interchange between the two, and so you'd need 2 different kits.

That doesn't make any sense... they make a .22 conversion kit for other lines of guns that come with different slide sizes.

It'd be neat but no one will even make a carbine that takes XD mags, so the odds of this are kind of low I think.

Someone is in the process of working on this project but its taking longer than expected. Time will tell if it ever becomes a reality, there have been a few roadblocks in their life that they are dealing with and overcoming. Patients is a virtue
