you cant even compare the 40 to the 10mm. full power 10mm are significantly more powerful then 40s&w.

not to mention that if they made a 10mm xd and used the 45 mags you can fit 16 of them! at around 700 ft/lbs of energy each, it offers a lot more power per mag then any of the other rounds used in xds.

so a mag full of 10mm loads at 700 ft/lbs would be a total of about-
11,900 ft/lbs

and a mag full of 45acp with about 400ft/lbs each would be a total of about-
5,200 ft/lbs

so that over double the amount of energy per mag when you compare the 10mm to 45acp

I have a subcompact glock 10mm. I have more ft/lbs of energy out of it then a full size .45 ACP with almost identical expansion.

Hasn't this poor horse been beaten enough. I'm sure its dead. Face it XD is not making a 10mm. If you do not like it and you must have a 10mm buy a Glock.
