Actually, I did read this thread in order and completely and I didn't see the "attack" that Joey made as being one worthy of response. Especially, a response as vehement as you've given.

It's not the door manufacturer's fault that the parents lost track of their kid for a few minutes, as tragic as that is I don't see how they could hold the manufacturer responsible.
