Are the accessory rails on our xd's the same as glock rails? Just curious because i saw a glock rail laser for $90 and i wanted to make sure it would fit my service xd before i bought it. Thanks for answering a stupid question.

It will fit. I would suggest you look around for a better price. I got mine for 80 new and have seen and sold them for as little as 50-60 used.

thanks, jj. after posting this, i hit ebay and looked for "glock laser" instead of "xd laser" and i've found a lot for around $30. Some of the descriptions said "Fit any standard weaver or picatinny rail". If i'm not mistaken, the glock has the weaver rail and the xd has the picatinny. I'm really looking for a laser/light combo, but don't want to pay the equivalent of 3/4 of a new xd for it.

the only stupid question is the one that you do not ask....Rails on guns have become quite universal. (unlike the first generation of Sig 2340's)
