I have the 2 12-round mags that came with my 5" tactical 40. Well, i was exercising the spring just now so i spend more time sho0ting tomorrow than loading.

I woudl put 12 rounds in, then noticed there was more ro0m. Both my magazines can hold 13 rounds. Anyone else seen/done/heard of this before?

Will this hurt the spring at all? I wouldnt see how, but then again, i dont know everything, heh. Curious if i can stick with keepin unlucky 13's in my mags or go back to usin 12.

It wont hurt a thing but they may be so full that you cannot shove a full mag in with the slide closed. Its not unusual to squeeze an extra round in.

hmm, go0d idea about them not fitting. I tried it out and the magazines do fit with the slide closed.
