Is this wear on my X9 Sub barrel normal ?

Just discovered this wear on my XD9 Sub barrel lugs. Is this normal ? I have about 800 rounds thru this gun with no problems. I'm concerned this will become a problem in the future.

Please see link for picture of wear on my barrel:

Thanks,

I'm still searching for the ultimate firearm lube. There are quite a few products out there, nothin like browsing for awhile to find the perfect one.

My XDSC9mm is showing signs of wear on the outer barrel lug and a very little on the inner one, the damage isn't very conspicuous though. Mine seems to be starting with a very small areas of silver discoloration, which are probably scraped areas on what I think is the tip of the first lug.

And on a side note, the picture Springfield Armory provides for their .357 Sig 4" ported XD on their websight is incorrect. They are showing the 40 S&W model, unless that is the .357 Sig model with a misprint on the part of the barrel that shows through the opening on the slide where the empty brass is ejected through. According to a calibur to mm conversion,

http://www.chuckhawks.com/caliber_conversions.htm
inch = 1.00 Caliber = 25.4mm

Caliber x 25.4 = size in mm (Example: .45 caliber x 25.4 = 11.43 so .45 caliber = 11.43mm)

Metric designation / 25.4mm = size in Caliber (Example: 9mm / 25.4 = 0.35433 so 9mm = approximately .35 cal)

.357 Sig = 9.017mm
.40 Cal = 10.160

I'm sure a millimeter difference in cartridge diameter would cause the XD to malfunction, but that's all speculation seeing as how I have never tested this with actual XD firearms.
