before i screw them up, i thought i'd ask first. how can i bring back that new from the box white brightness? i'd rather try cleaning them before using new paint or buying aftermarket sights.....doug

try a little windex on a Q-tip.
Gun solvents are too harsh. Good luck!

Saw a post just last week on this forum showing factory sights painted florescent red rear and (I think) it was florescent green front. Got to admit it looked "impressive". He used florescent model airplane paint and they definitely stood out. Oh sure, certainly not night sights nor were they intended to be. That's the route I'll go soon with my XD factory sights (florescent painted dots). (I don't think florescent is spelt right)
