Got my slide and barrel back from CCR-Refinishing!
It was worth the wait. I had CCR refinish my bi-tone slide in their toughest ceramic finish. It is absolutely flawless. The finish is nice and smooth with a very low luster. I'll get better pictures tonight of the slide and barrel. I'm so excited!!!

VERY nice! I like the "powdercoated" texture it has.
What are your thoughts on those XSSights? I was thinking about getting a set for my wife's XD... -stunks |

The slide was probably bead blasted before the coating was done. It has a very smooth finish although it looks texturized.
The XS sights are accurate but not 'precise'. On a defensive stand point they are nice and fast. |

Nice,
From the pictures its looks like the finish put on Glocks, what is it called..Tenifer (sp)? I like the looks of your gun, may I ask how much it was? I think the finish is one of the best features of a Glock. E

I wish it was Tenifer. Maybe when this finish wears out I'll have it Melonite'ed.
The finish has a gloss look to it depending on the lighting. In "normal" light it has a low gloss. The slide was done for $55. I know it's a bit more but I like it. My slide was originally stainless. XD-HS2000 couldn't Duracoat it. |
