Picked her up today!
Well, after an agonizing 3 day wait period I got to pick up my brand new first gun ever! A beautiful XD 9! Here's some pics but I'm sure we all know what they look like, click for big.
   I'm loving it so far, put 100 rounds thru at the range today, have alot to work on this being my first gun and all but I can tell this will be a really exciting new hobby! Oh one more thing, when I bought it, it was advertising as a regular XD 9 and right next to it was a XD 9 that was advertised as HI CAP. Well when the guy brought the box out from the back room it included one HI CAP mag and one standard mag, is this normal? The one that was advertised at the HI CAP was almost $40 more than what I paid for mine. |

That's how my taurus 24/7 40 cal showed up, it's probably a promotion.

Have they quit selling the combo?
When I bought mine...it came with 3 hi-cap mags, holster, and gun cable and nice case. PP

Way to go on the new gun
 I think you made a really good choice as I just got back from my local range where I spent my wife's money on the same xd  Can't wait to pick it up...
