Not that I would ever want pink, but where would one go to get this gun re-finished, and would anyone have any examples of different colors people have gotten their's refinished.

The only 2 websights where I have found refinishers are:

They don't offer much color variation though. If you guys happen to stumble on any other places that provide xd refinishing, posting them would be great..., I'm looking for a decent in expensive protective coat that is similar to the original stock black slide.

The only finish you need on that gun is the wear of thousands of rounds.

heh, well any future presents are a long way off, my bday isn't till december and i'm getting married in a few months. I'm sure the XD 9 will keep me busy for quite some time. I just stopped at walmart tonight and picked up 2 boxes of the 100 rounds of winchester white box and will probably go thru a box tomorrow at the range and save one for next weekend.
