Is this normal?
First of all im paranoid about my gun so it's probably just me. But when insert a clip into my xd i can feel it jiggle slightly. Not a lot but enough that when you shake the gun you can hear a slight sound like i said it's very little movemeny but when i first got this xd they were immovable. Is this normal?

the rattle may also be the bullets in the magazine and not the magazine itself.... unless of course it happens when its empty

I recently purchased an XD Subcompact 9mm and noticed the same thing you mentioned J, when the magazine is locked into the pistol and you shake the pistol while not holding the lower end of the magazine in place, you can hear it rattle. I have noticed this with the 10 round mag (with hand grip extension) both empty and full as well as with the 15 round mag empty, although the rattling is somewhat muffled when you have a fully loaded magazine. So far this annoyance has caused no problems when firing the XDSC 9mm, the bullets are fed from the magazine into the chamber with no hiccups or abnormalities. Reporting this to Springfield Armory customer service may yield some answers for you.

There was a subtle hint for you in an earlier post. Call it a magazine and not a clip. There are a bunch of very anal gun owners on here that will jump all over your ass shortly if you call it a clip again.
