The issue is not the ability to feel mighty for coming down on you.

Being a gun owner, it is reasonable to assume that you will now interact with other gun owners and enthusiasts- gun shows, shooting ranges, gun shops, the internet, etc.. Rather than being defensive about the correction to your vocabulary, pick up the new word, say thanks, and avoid sounding dumb in gun related conversations.

Does anyone else notice how many brand new members we have in the last page of this thread, and how many of them appear to be... very angry? One went so far as to call for the banning of someone, when the accuser only has 4 posts himself! Maybe this is a big joke that I'm not getting. If so, please disregard. If not, then perhaps we all need to give eachother a little bit of slack. Perhaps I'm just having MasterofG3 flashbacks (for those of you who have been here long enough to remember). Sorry for the interruption. Proceed with your conversation.

DOOM, it was ALL that games fault. For some reason the makers of the original DOOM called the magazines clips, and therefore it caught on with other games like Wolfenstien, ect. Now all video game or former game players confuse magazines with clips. Nothing to get mad about, just be glad you were told this on the internet. Nothing like looking really stupid infront of someone in real life.

Doom was and still is a great game, despite making a fool in front of other people because of Doom's misinformation is no biggie. You have to love archviles in the game and their demon fire attack when in a direct line of sight, kinda stunning and confusing.
