I learned by taking my gun apart. Ajamesp51 disassembly web page, mike+p+ and ichy_trigger's posts, other posts. Also from just viewing at the manual and parts list. Just sat around one week end took the slide off and pulled the trigger and watched what happened. Also do a search on glock .25 trigger job.

Has anyone posted a breakdown of what S.A. or C.C. does as part of their jobs?
As for a screw... how about a small metal insert threaded on the inside. Drill your hole, put a drop of epoxy in the hole, insert the insert , screw in a set screw with a little blue locktite... They use inserts like this in laptops... you could also buy a piercing jewelry type barbell and cut it in half... ...Just thinking out loud... -Liam |

You know I'm not sure what size the tap was I'll have to check. I'm going to Home Depot sometime this week so I'll just check there for a screw, thanks for the offer though.

Cap'n Larry's helpful hint: Take the slide off (after triple checking to make sure it's unloaded of course). Then push down on the trigger bar to reset the trigger. Then pull the trigger while watching the safety lever move up. The safety lever height should be set at the point when all the trigger take up has been used, just before there is any tension. If the height is set any more than this ...then the sear is starting to be engaged. Don't let that happen. Note: I don't have an XD in my hands, I'm going from memory.

Does anybody have different way to get rid of the pretravel? Any Ideas. I guess I could also use a screw then I could be adjustable.
