Red Front... Green Rear??

That Seems To Be The Only TruGlo TFO sights That Are Available To Me From My Local Dealer

Not to Sure About That Color Setup. Looking To Get This Done Before My CCW Classes Start In Feb.

Turn Around Time is 2 Days For The Install For 50 Bucks, Said The Sights Are About 75 Bucks and they have To Order Them In., 125 Doesnt Seem Bad To me At All

Just Worried About The Red Front Sights and The Green Backs

Anyone Have This Setup?

I am about to probably go w/ fiber optics on my Springfield TRP - I hate the night sights that come with the gun - the dots are too small to see.

That being said, the Novak fiber optics come in red and green, and I have been debaiting what to go with. I KNOW I want a green dot in the front - the green will be more visible in lower light situations. I am just debating whether or not to go w/ red backs or just a plain black rear sight.

I think the green in the front would be better.

having red front and green rear, I like. I feel that the green blend in with the post to much, and the red really sticks out.

Never heard of it. On the TFO, you can only get a green front. You can get either the green or yellow in the rear. The problem with the Red fiber is that the tritium wont be able to get through the color, which is why the yellow rear is about 80% bright as the green.

Are you sure they have a red front on a TRUGLO TFO sight?

Not to get too much off the topic, but are the fiber opitc only (without the tritium gas) only usefull in daylight? Wondering how they would work at the indoor range

I have an XD40 with TFO amber (yellow) front and green in the rear. They are good in all light conditions, even no light.

Here is a discussion regarding Dawson fiber optics and indoor ranges: http://www.hs2000talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=28164
Thanks JD, that's what I needed to find out. Guess if I was thinking I could have done a search myself Does sound like the TFO's are
the better all-around choice though....
