Nice pics, the inlay color selection is quit uniqe. Did you use the crayola method for that? Also are those the factory sights painted and if so what did you use for paint.

I was wondering the same thing about the sights...are they painted with Brite-Sights colors?
How does the paint hold up cleaning with the cleaning solvents? Does it fade or do you have to reapply it much? Thanks Ed

Yes it's the factory sights on the gun. I got the paint from
wamart. It's just flouresent(sp?) model paint. It was like a $2 for both colors (orange&green). As for the inlay, I just applied a whole bunch of paint in the engraved parts and whipped the excess away after like 5 secs. The trick is to use a slightly wet towel or paper towel to whip away the excess, you might have to reapply the paint a few times to get it all. As for the paint staying on during cleaning I have cleaned it 3 times and the paint has yet to be affected by the cleaner that I use. |
