Forum Housekeeping....Avatars and Signatures

While in the process of forum housekeeping, there
are several forum members who have not adhered to
the profile rules set forth in your profile folder.

Specifically, the size of avatars and signatures.

A request goes out to all to perform your own
avatar and signature resizing, reformating and
following the same rules set forth for all of us.

Please consider this a general message to ALL forum
members. No one is being left behind nor is anyone
being singled out.

May as well start the New Year out right. Happy New
Year to all!

We are almost there. Compliance with the forum
rules on avatars and signatures is appreciated.

Please do not procrastinate too much longer!
A few 'hold outs' mainly will help us get the job
done.

Time to do some housekeeping again. We ask all members to assist us by bringing your avatars and signature blocks into compliance with the forum rules per the Forum Code of Conduct.

Avatars:

The Avatar - only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 80 pixels, the height no greater than 80 pixels, and the file size no more than 25 KB. The Avatar must be in good taste and non-offensive to all viewers.

Signature Blocks

The Signature - This is a block of text that can be added to posts you make. There is a 255 alpha/numeric character limit. No graphics of any nature can be posted in the Signature element. Links to pornographic sites are prohibited.

Political Links in Signatures - Whether it be for an organization or an individual, are limited to one. You are allowed to have a single link in your signature as long as the text is black and the font point size is '2'. Multiple links will be removed. Pick your favorite!

Commercial Links in Signatures- Commercial links to an on-line store are no longer allowed in signatures unless it is a link to an XDTalk Commercial Sponsor. This rule only applies to your signature. You can post commercial links in a post to a non-XDTalk Commercial Sponsor if it's in response to a question. (e.g. Where can I find such & such?) This is out of fairness to our commercial sponsors.

Additionally, the quoting of forum members in the signature block will not be allowed and is in violation of the CoC. No exceptions.
Respect Others

The Administrator and Moderators encourage everyone to treat each other with mutual respect. Do not use any communication or collaboration services to threaten, harass, stalk, or abuse others participating in these services.

We will allow a few days for folks to bring their avatars and sigs into compliance. After that, if they are modified/deleted you know why.
