Why the bar-sto?

It is a manageable gun to shoot.
IMO if you’re afraid of the recoil don’t buy it.
If you are willing to practice with it you’re going to do fine. I’m not going to lie.. The gun goes BANG! But if my wife who is 5'2 105 lbs can shoot it well there is no reason why anyone else can’t.

I've wanted one for a while. They're stainless and accurate. Basically instead of two XD's I'm going to make my XD-9 into my dream XD. Already have DGR, next after barrel is refinish--Duracoat or NP3.

I have shot my XD-9 enough that there is no longer any finish left on the grip safety. I dont mean to toot my own horn but I am quite accurate with it, and I think the bar-sto will only improve things. I dont typically do "slow" fire, but I can routinely hit the A head box of IPSC targets out to 15 yards.

Most of all I'm getting the bar-sto because its shiny.

My girlfriend makes her purchasing decisions based on shininess.

you will shoot a magnum but not a 357sig?

Its not thast bad and it only as little "snappier" then a 40. anyone who says its alot snappier then a 40 in the same gun either doesnt know what they are talking about or is shooting really weak 40sw. It is really barely noticable.

my mom has shot my xd357 and my 2" 357mag with no problems or fear and she is a girly girl pansy. I have seen a young teenage boy shoot my xd357 with no problem so he could compare it to his g19 that his dad gave him.
