the IDPA rulebook says spacificly that CDP is .45 ACP.

just wondering where they put you...
The range I shoot at only has pistols and revolvers as classes. We shoot what they call IDPA style. We mix steel in with the paper targets so can't be true IDPA.

o and, IDPA allows 1 steel for every 3 paper targets.

I didn't know about the steel. I don't belong to the IDPA. I shoot against a lot of Kimbers and other 1911's. I think the XD and the Glock have an advantage.

thats exactly what i said. thats why i asked him what division he shoots. most people dont know where the XD falls period.

XDs are ESP guns period.
I was thinking ESP when I typed SSP about the XD. Too much alphabet soup got mixed up during the trip from my old brain to my fingers. I don't know why people get so upset because the XD is classified ESP. I like using my XD for IDPA and I could care less which division it's in.

As to the 45acp I just did not want anyone to think that 45acp automatically means CDP.
