9, 40, & 45 in 4" & 5" models. The 40 5" is my favorite, but the 45 is moving up now that I have worked up a nice low PF load.

I've been meaning to get involved in IDPA for sometime, but my work schedule always interfered with the meet days. This coming year I have no such problem. The Green Valley Club in Hallsville, MO. is where I do some shooting and is where the IDPA meets are held. It is also the home of the Chapman Academy and the Bianchi Cup.

i shoot IDPA with my XD, but i'm about to switch to Glock so i can keep the exact same setup for: carry, IDPA, and IPSC.

you should try both your XD and your glock. its not like you have too choose one gun and stick with it the rest of the year.

I shot some IDPA matches this last summer with my 9mm XD 4". I also saw a guy at a club match shooting a SC 9 using an IWB holster. I asked him about that and he said it wasn't the fastest setup for IDPA but it was his daily carry rig so it was good practice.

I don't recall what the capacity is of the SC 40, but I see no reason not to shoot it if you want to.

You do not have to shoot CDP just because your gun is a 45acp. If the gun itself meets the criteria it can be used in ESP or SSP.

A factory stock P220 can be use in SSP or CDP.

A factory stock USP-45 can be used in SSP if the first shot is D/A or in CDP if the gun is drawn cocked and locked.

The rule book says if you want to shoot CDP the pistol must be 45acp so I don't know if that means the XD-45 is limited to SSP only since it's 45gap and not 45acp.
