is a .40 Cal Xd any good with lead bullets

I just bought a 5" Tactical XD in .40 S&W cal and was wondering if there are any problems with lead bullets in the gun.

I didn't care for them, reloading wise.. but they shot fine. Indoor ranges don't like straight lead, most require a jacket of some kind.

I've been shooting lead for a couple of weeks about 350 rounds and haven't had any problems. I had been shooting plated bullets and made the change to lead after finding a guy that sells them for $40 per 1K locally.
