I will be getting a can one of these days and I would like to put it on an XD. I know that it couldnt be to hard to make a threaded 9mm barrel for the XD. Anyone heard of anything?

FireDragon is also making them, for less than Barsto too. Give Frank a call.

Check out Advanced Armament out of Duluth GA. I bought the Pilot for my Walther P22 and it is sweet as hell. My Barrell came threaded though from Walther. However I think they also make them theirselves.
The 9 and the 40 supressed is not that big of a difference. I was not impressed with the suppresed Glock .40 I fired. It was still noticeable a gun shot. EDIT: AAC no longer offers barrel threading services at its facility. All barrel threading inquiries should be directed to: John Noveske at: Noveske Rifleworks 721 NW 2nd St. Grants Pass, OR. 97526 Phone: (541) 479-6117 Email: john@jnrifleworks.com On the web at: www.jnrifleworks.com

thanks for the relplies guys, I will probably get it for a 9mm and shoot some 147gr subsonic loads. I know some guys with cans although I have never seen or heard any for a 40? I guess a guy could load there own 180-200 gr subsonic 40sw and it would perform ok. Of course I would also have to get a can for my AR and put a 22 LR conversion bolt.
Man I love being in a pro NFA state |
