Adhering pressure switch.

Anyone have an idea what would work best to adhere a rubber pressure
switch to the synthetic stock of my mini-14? I tried that thin double sided
carpet tape but it doesn't hold. I was suggested to use silicone from one
person, and then the black rv sealant by another. I don't want to take a
chance of the chemicals messing up the stock or the rubber switch.
The texture on the synthetic stock is that, textured. Please don't
suggest a vertical grip with the built in pressure switch slot.
I spent good money on one and just don't like them. I want
a traditional mount, horizontally.

Thanks all!

Grip lock or just use come some craft velcro. Just a small strip will do. I have a friend that uses velcro for his light switch on his AR 15. Works great!

Hardware section of walmart should have it. Or like where picture hangers are. If not a craftt store/dept. Its like Velcro but plastic kind of. I think 3m makes it. I just used 3m Velcro but the grip lock stuff is better.
