@ JVance - thanks a ton for that link. I am very interested in that gun and will likely see if my local guy will let me place a deposit on one. However - I'm a supply/distribution guy myself and I just can't see Springfield moving forward with this right now. My opinion is: Why would they put out a new handgun (albeit just a modified version of a current successful model) when they are making money hand over fist as fast as they can pump out current production models. It's far easier to keep up with demand when you limit your models in production to those that are your highest current sellers. That = highest % profit.

I'll still be be the guys waiting hopefully with fingers crossed. But I'm not dumb enough to start holding my breath right now - at least not until the frenzy dies down for 6-8 weeks.

I don't know if it's in fact thinner than the CBST, but its shape is different and only has one clip (my forward angle preference is farther forward than some, but it's completely adjustable). It might fit your side/emobutt better

Anyone with direct comparison experience between the CBST and N82 Pro series? I can see the benefit of two belt clips on some pants...

Chewhr00 and Flamingsuit - thanks for the input. I like them both. I'll be looking at the Little Foxx tonight as the N82 pro is only available in Righty for my 9SC. I'm lefty.

My recommendation...

Borrow a fullsize 1911 and carry it around for a few days. I promise it will make the XD9sc feel smaller.
