My thoughts on Nate squared.
I like 'em. Lets review customer service first. I ordered an N82 original holster for my xd45 tactical last monday. Then on tuesday decided I wanted the pro model instead. I sent them an email late tuesday afternoon asking if I could change my order. Amanda replied within about 15 min saying no problem. She sent me an invoice for the price difference first thing wed morning. I promptly paid and she shipped my holster that morning. It arrived in the mail Friday. Shipping is only $3 first class mail. I'm of the opinion N82 customer service is exellent.
Now, on to the holster. I like it....ALOT. This is my first IWB holster so I can't compare it directly to anything else. I wore it at 6 o'clock all day yesterday while bass fishing. Approx 10 hrs including 1 1/2 hrs travel time. I find it to be more comfortable than my favorite leather OWB holster. With the owb holster the belt carries the full weight of the gun. I have to cinch my belt uncomfortably tight to keep my britches up. With the n82 the friction from the swede backing offsets a good deal of the guns weight. I can wear my belt at the same tightness as I normally would and my pants stay up fine. I'm 6' 220lb with a mild case of dunlop disease. I found that the only place I can conceal this gun well is at 5-6 o'clock. With 6 being quite a bit more comfortable. Drawing and re-holstering is easy even way back there. That big honkin handle is hard to hide. I'm wanting a 45 compact worse than ever now. I may even go with the XDm compact as its grip is nearly 1 1/4" shorter than the tac and almost 1/2" shorter than the xd compact. I think I could hide either of those pistols pretty well at 3 o'clock with this holster. The twist draw takes a bit of getting used to but I'm getting pretty smooth with it already. The retention is very good. The belt clip is well designed and holds firmly. I can't pull the holster from my pants by pulling on the gun and the gun won't come out of the holster without twisting it. I think it would be pretty hard to wrestle my holstered gun away from me. Not impossible but, definitely not easy. I think it's a great retention system. Workmanship is very good and it's easy to put on and take off. All in all I think it's a great holster from a great little family company. Thanks N82.

its always good to hear positive things about a business. customer service is sometimes just as important as the product.

Know someone who was selling two of these recently.
I didn't know anything about them at the time, but they looked and felt really nice.
I passed for two really important reasons, they were for guns I don't have, and I am a lefty and he wasn't. No brainer there.

Just a quick update. This is a really comfortable holster. I found that with the right amount of cant my .45 tac hides pretty well under a loose t-shirt at 3 o'clock in this holster. It'll be easy to conceal there under heavier clothes once fall arrives. I'm still get'n a .45 compact though. And a snubby in 44 special. And, well.....You guys know how it is.

Spend a little more and go with the "Professional" grade.

That's what I have. I'm glad I spent the extra $30. I couldn't be happier with this holster.

That's the ONLY way to go. The others are not worth it (IMO)
I can't stop wearing my G33 in a N82. I haven't carried the XDS yet simply because they haven't come out with a holster yet. But when they do, I am honestly going to have a hard time picking 6 rounds of .45, or 10 rounds of .357 sig
The G33 conceals VERY well in a N82

Hey Brad. Thanks for turning me on to n82. I had never heard of them till I saw you recommending them in another thread. I checked out the Youtube reviews and decided to give 'em a try.

Hey no problem. I tell everyone about them that I can. I literally have "the great bucket-o-holsters" and I'll be the first to admit, finding a holster that works is annoying, and costly.
I've had a lot of holsters, and this one is by far my favorite. I can only hope I've turned a little bit of business their way as a little "thank you"
I was actually turned onto them from another forum's member suggesting them. I held off till my local gun show and checked them out in person, and was sold!
