Question Crossbreed. Can it be re-shaped from 1911 to xd subcompact???
I recently sold my 1911 colt defender.... Whomp whomp. I truly loved it but needed the money at the time, in other news! I could afford an xd 40 subcompact! and now I have a new gun and my trusty ol crossbreed that I am completely in love with! Problem is I can either pay $40 to have a new mold to be put on by crossbreed or pay $40 for a brand new holster from foxx holsters that is the same thing but half the price. Orrrr I can try and remold my existing holster. Anyone every try this? Will it work? And if so what's my best method? Thanks in advance! Sgt. Lance USMC!
Also I highly recommend crossbreed and wouldn't hesitate to buy another, only problems I'm in a little hot water about my gun fund with the wife.
Because I just spent $1250 last month on an msar stg-556... And now the xd lol so yes I'm being a George kastanza time now.

Sell the 1911 holster, use the money + your $40 to buy a new one.

Kydex can be molded with heat and pressure and a template

Not easy to do but doable...much easier and cheaper to pay someone for a lifetime warranty product made in America

I love the design, but honestly they're ripping people off.. I have a problem with buying and selling guns so it's way cheaper just to make my own everytime i get a new pistol. My friends love em too.

do you guys not know about crossbreedseconds or what?

I have only bought 1 new crossbreed all the rest of mine have been from the seconds site and also 4 of my good friends have ordered from it. just keep an eye out what your looking for usually pops up in a week or so
