do galco leather holsters fit both 9 and 45?

i'm soon to pick up an xdm 45,

and i'm also shopping and plan to buy an xdm 9.

i've owned and liked many galco leather holsters,
and looking at their online catalog with its dropdown menus and such, when i look for the 3 main holster types i want (iwb, owb, shoulder), and key in for gun model (xdm .45, xdm 9mm),
on all 3 types of holster it returns back the same part numbers for both guns.

does anyone own a 9 and 45 and a galco holster to let me know does it fit both?

i'm concerned it's going to end up being too tight on the 45, and/or leaving the 45 in it to stretch out will end up then being too loose for the 9.

i already have the iwb and owb holsters on order, i know one way or the other i will make use of them; am just wondering if anyone's gone through this already. i ordered before i signed up here, otherwise i would've asked this first

welp my galco sc2 iwb and galco silhouette owb arrived,
i only yet own the xdm 45 4.5", i plan to buy an xdm 9 3.8" but don't have yet to try in these holsters.

the bulk of both holsters holds the xdm 45 fine, it's tight but all galco leather holsters are quite tight at first and take a fair bit of break-in time,

but thus far the thumbstrap (both of these holsters have one) would have to be stretched quite a distance to get around the back of the slide.
i'm worried if i start stretching them to fit the 45 they won't then fit the 9. i'm also not even sure i can get them to stretch that much.

i'm gonna wait until i get the xdm 9 and see how it does in these; see if the distance from front of trigger guard to back of slide is different and by how much.

NOTE: as for doublestack polymer 45's, the XDM is overall slimmer than a glock 21 and an fnp45, so i can see it having a chance to fit in a holster for a 9/40.

I have a Galco OWB and it fits both of my XD and my XDm 45 an 9mm. Also fits my Sigs.
May experience has been that that holster fits lots of different guns - also fit my Glocks before I got rid of them.

do you see a length difference between your xd/m 9 and 45 going from the front of the trigger guard to the back of the slide?
i say front of trigger guard because that's the point you can't push a gun into a holster any further, and back of the slide because that's where my thumbbreak has to get around.

in the store the xdm 9 looks smaller in all dimensions to me than the xdm 45, i haven't held both yet though.

fwiw these are the 2 galco iwb and owb i ordered and rec'd:

the xdm .45 4.5" slides into them okay but the thumbbreak (both have) looks like it would be quite a lot of work to stretch around the back,

galco's site shows the same product # whether for a 9/.40 or a .45, yet i'm fairly sure my .45 is larger dims than the 9 and .40,
but by how much i don't know - that's the thing.

i plan to buy an xdm 9 3.8" as soon as the one i want is instock locally, but i've been waiting for weeks and haven't seen that yet.

for now i'm planning to not stretch these to go on the .45, i don't even know if i could stretch them that far without damaging something, the snap or such. for now i'm leaving them aside to use with the 9 i get later.

Desantis makes a nearly the same of that OWB holster, and i notice they do give 2different product #'s for that model for a 9/40, vs their product for the .45, so i've ordered the desantis for the .45 now.

I owned that desantis for a ruger sr9c not long ago (sold the gun and holster), it was a great product and i had no trouble getting the thumbbreak around the back, so i think this for the xdm .45 will work well.
