If you get a Crossbreed, consider the "combat cut" (extra $$). It is custom cut to fit your specific XD. Check out their FAQs on combat cut. I found I can't draw cleanly with the non-combat because the leather flap sticks out too much into the web of my draw hand. It prevents me from getting the grip that disengages the grip safety on draw so I waste precious seconds to reseat it. I am sending it back and they are combat cutting it. Crossbreed has awesome customer service!
