Thumbs up Glock: additional trigger safety

Came across this product over the weekend and thought, that's pretty nifty.
https://www.clipdraw.com/store/index...on=show_detail

Then another lead sent me to siderlock: Lone Wolf Distributors - Product Detail - LWD Siderlock Trigger Safety - $49.95

Thought, Wow, now this makes the Glock pistol complete. Have never thought of implementing such devices, but this siderlock would give me that "extra" layer of protection when re-holstering the Glock pistol.

What are your thoughts??

Interesting. I do not think it is for most Glock users but I am sure there is a select market that it is perfect for. While some will say that the only safety you need is your finger there is a place for things like this IMO.

No, I wouldn't put one on my 17 but I'm sure they would sell some.

I have no need for it. I bought a glock because of how simple it is.

He needs to scrub his nails before doing videos. It looks like a hostage video.

^ I concur...

A solution to a non-existing problem..

Pay attention, keep your finger off the trigger, and make sure your holsters are in top condition.

There, hopefully I just saved someone $49.95..

Although I am thinking about a smooth faced trigger for my G19..

Best safety is no finger on the trigger.

I can concur, but can see it an extra layer, as like the grip safety of XD. However it doesn't disengage as natural as a grip safety.

Have not been carrying the Glock pistol as long as the XD and really appreciate that grip safety when re-holstering in any position. I have really come to prefer the Glock "platform" over the XD, so guess it's just a matter of time type of thing, when thinking of all the others before that got Glock leg or hip without a finger on the trigger.

Do agree with ya there 1LL about the holsters being absolutely serviceable and not skimping on. Remember the pic of the guy getting into his car, pressing his Glock further into it's holster and having a ND because leather from his holster got pinched up inside the trigger guard? No way in hell is that happening to an XD in my mind. But still get a little bit of the Willies when blindly re-holstering the beloved Glock. Not afraid of it, but still being EXTRA careful around this guy.

Agreed! I would of certainly got "cleaned up" before shooting something like that. LOTS of gun sense, but not much common sense.
