Range bags
I recently just picked up a new xd 9 subcompact. Now I'm looking for a good range bag. Does anyone have any suggestions or ones to stay away from?

I picked up the Midway Competition Range Bag a while back. It has been great so far. It is very roomy with lots of dedicated pockets to help me keep my gear organized.

I think that the MidwayUSA range bags are hard to beat. Midway is also a big supporter of the NRA. Check out this video review of the two sizes:

i recently picked up the midway competition range bag on sale and was impressed with the quality however it is huge so while still on sale i bought the compact range bag, i'm using the padded pistol bags and spent brass bag from the competition model in the compact model which seems to be a good combo for me, i plan on using the competition model to its fullest someday but for quick range trips i find its just too huge for what i take to the range.

I would also recommend the smaller compact range bag from MIDWAY. The large bag is large and bulky. Mine weighs like 200 lbs when it is full and range ready.

I couldn't pass up that deal either.
EDIT: I just realized those extras come with the large bag.. Guess I won't be getting the extras, still a darn good bag for the price though.

+1 on the Midway bag. Love mine. Has tons of pockets.
On a side note, do we really need to shove the search function down everyone's throats? If you don't want to answer, just don't. Besides the very helpful links posted, you also get every thread with the word range in it. Sometimes it's just easier to ask.

I have the midway compact range bag and it is plenty big enough for my xdm9 4.5 and everything I need to take with it. I really like the mag holders in the side pouch. I'm sure it will still be fine with a second pistol in there as well. Midway is great overall.

Another happy Midway user here, first the small pistol case, then the large range bag. Very happy with both.
