New Holster Arrived-M-11 Ultimate Hardcore

I just wanted to give a shout out that my new M-11 Ultimate Hardcore holster from Brigade Gun Leather arrived today. What a beauty. This is absolutely the most comfortable holster I have ever owned! I have two of the most popular holsters out there and I can say that they do not compare to this product!!! Retention is excellent, it is already super comfortable, excellent quality and craftsmanship and I didn't have to go up a pant size just to wear a holster. This holster looks and feels excellent! I'm impressed!!

I had resorted to carrying full time with a pocket pistol which is fine but I would prefer to be carrying my XD. Finally after a year of money spent on two other holsters, I have found a holster that I will wear and forget about while it is on!!

I have gotten a couple of private messages about why I like this holster so I thought I would post my latest reply in the forum:

What puts this holster above the hybird type is

1) This holster is just plain more comfortable than the two other hybrid holsters I owned. I could never get over the rigidness of my crossbreed. I felt like between the gun and the kydex, I was carrying a brick on my hip. I really can't believe that guys rave and rave about these holsters. Honesty there is no comparison between hybrid holsters and a holster from Brigade Gun Leather. (I cannot speak for all leather holster manufacturers)

I think part of the issue with the above is that guys just don't know how much better this particular brand of leather gun holsters are. The main reason is the price and the wait time. This holster is double the price of a Crossbreed. It's that simple. No one really want to wait 4-6 months for a Holster and they certainly don't want to pay double the price to boot. At the end of the day, you don't know what you don't know.

With the the leather holster from Brigade Gun leather I really don't feel much at all. It's tight to my body, feels good and is not rigid. Although the leather is thick and rigid, it still offers forgivness unlike kydex. This is the part that I love the most. You still get excellent retention but get a ton more comfort because of this fact.

Brigade Gun Leather offers a small screw on the inside of the holster that you can tighten if you want more or less retention. I have not played with the screw. The holster was made for my XD and offers plenty of retention for me. My guess is that the screw is for years down the road when the holster is really broken in and you want to tighten it up a bit. The location of tightening mechanism is genius and in no way rubs or touches your body.

I'm happy with how I'm able to draw from this holster. For me, it's clean and smooth. I'm beyond happy with this holster.

One other thing abouth this holster: It's absolutely gorgeous. It just looks good. It's as pretty as my guns and my XD looks very good in it.

If you decide to go with Brigade Gun Leather call Troy and speak with him. He is very cool and he might spead up the process for you. He did for me! It took me about 18 weeks to get my holster. Man, it was well worth the wait. I have my old holsters for sale on Ebay right now!

I was looking at their site a little bit ago and admiring the quality of the work. Even the Standard holster looks to be pretty nice. Glad to see a real world review of it.
